biggerPicture is a modern jazz collective composed mainly of Danish trumpet player Tobias Bech and English pianist Laurie Rich. Their spacious, yet vulnerable sound embodies everything from intricate, beautiful melodies to strategically improvised harmonic developments. In July 2024, the duo went to Berlin's Hansa Studios, with engineer Nanni Johansson and recorded ten original melodies in a single day. Later, they had the acclaimed Swedish singer Irma Neumüller (SE) feature as a collaborator on their work. The recordings will be released later in 2025. In January and February, they toured the UK, playing with BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year, Ursula Harrison, playing at well-known venues such as The Vortex Jazz Club and Ashburton Arts, and they will be playing at the Yardbird in Cardiff in May. They ended their tour by recording a new album in the Fish Factory Studios in London engineered by Sonny Johns, featuring Seth Sjöström (SE) on bass, Dominik Witte (DE) on drums, and Irma Neumüller (SE) on vocals
